A wind farm is being planned in the channel to the south-west of the Isle of Wight, classified as the West of Isle of Wight zone by the Crown Estate who manage most of the UK coastal waters.
The Isle of Wight will soon play a more important role on business as the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) has secured planning permission to build a new state of the art technology park in Whippingham, East Cowes. The park will contain offices as well as industrial units and warehouses.
